When you register for the test drive: your name, work email, company, role, company size and the purpose you give. While you use your workspace: sign-in times and which actions you took (for example downloaded the template, loaded data, ran a scenario). When you use the contact form: your name, email and message. We use this to provide the test drive, keep it secure, reply to you, and follow up with you about your test. The legal basis is the performance of the free test you asked for and our legitimate interest in answering you and keeping the service secure (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
The model works on positions, pay rules and monthly totals. Please do not upload names, birth dates or other personal data of individuals. Use any position id. Your data is stored in a private workspace that only you can open. It is not used to train models and is not shown to anyone else.
The site uses a single cookie, delta_ws. It keeps you signed in to your test workspace and is only set after you open your sign-in link. It is strictly necessary for that function, lasts up to 30 days, and is removed when you sign out or delete your workspace. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and load no third-party fonts, so there is no cookie banner.
To see how many people visit and which pages help, we use Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It counts page views by page, referring site, country, browser and device type, using an anonymous identifier that is rotated daily, so a visitor cannot be followed across days or sites. The measuring script is served from our own domain. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The workspace and everything in it is deleted automatically 30 days after it was created, and immediately when you press “Delete my workspace”. Registration details and contact messages are kept for as long as needed to follow up on your test and answer you; you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Our hosting provider (Vercel), our database provider (Supabase) and our email delivery service (Resend) process data on our behalf. Data is stored in the European Union where available. The hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security.
You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and complain to a data protection authority. Write to hello@hccontroller.com.
